Description

My artistic philosophy revolves around my desire to capture images that not only look like you — but truly are the essence of who you are.When asked to describe my style of photography, I say that my pictures are natural and honest. My photographs are about catching a feeling, a moment, a loving glance, or an ‘onerey smirk. I do my best to be flattering, using natural light and barely noticeable post-production manipulation. I will touch-up and enhance, but never alter. My hope is that when you view my photographs, you will feel that I have captured something true and beautiful that brings a smile to your heart.

General Information

I have been an artist since I was conceived, it’s in my DNA. I have played with many mediums in my life; from dance, pottery, painting, photography and creative writing, to sewing & design. But Photography took on a whole new importance for me when I became a Mom. I wanted to capture everything, but not in that stiff, ‘smile for the camera’ way. And now, to my kids’ utter dismay, have my camera permanently attached to my face! I approach everything with a little bit of humor, including my work. I am cheeky, goofy and try never to take myself too seriously. I sincerely look forward to working with you! Heather
